Let’s take the first step!

So, it’s New Years.. Okay, its the 3rd. A friend asked me today what my New Year’s resolution is and I honestly answered her: Nothing!

I sat back and thought of what I wanted to change and simply the answer was again: Nothing! However, I do have regrets of the last year like every other normal human being, but I guess the biggest regret was that even though I have been contemplating it for years, I had still not opened a blog to document my travels. 

My father would always put a notebook in our hands before any trip and would say that all we will have in the end are memories, which unfortunately, fade with time. He always encouraged us to document. This is why, this year, I have decided to try to start to blog. At least a piece of my travels will be out there. 

Don’t get me wrong. I am not a world traveller. I have been to some countries in the world, however that is not the only journey a person can travel. This is why, any small experience outside the home for me is considered worthy of being remembered. I hope that this blog will bring someone a smile, will help someone when looking at a place I have been to or just be entertaining at the very least.
